Like a few of my other journal entries, this is yet another instance of me try to catch up rather than really do something new per se. But in actuality, it just so happens that I'm up to a bunch of new things and just haven't had much of a chance to talk about them until now, because my life has been surprisingly nutty.
My new school, SFU, has been a blast. I now have a dedicated studio to work from, and have been doing some pretty good art projects as of late. I've also been spending more time doing that stuff and connecting with my fellow students, not to mention learning how to transcribe music pieces in my music class, than online per se lately. I owe you some of my new work, I have plenty to post.
Additionally, I've been in a three piece band since January of this year, and we're starting to write original material. In addition to that, I'm coming up with a cartoonified version of the band that can have wacky adventures or something. So I'll have to post more about that, too. The band, by the way, is called Tredd.
Finally, I've been doing the iconography for a fantastic monster smashing game called Kaiju-A-Gogo, available on Steam. Look it up, it's city crushing fun!
Now add on top of that other jobs and more concept art for my fantasy world, Tales of Cascade, not to mention artwork related to my Judeo-Pagan spirituality. Yup, I'm sorry to have been offline, but to be fair, I did have good reason.
Oh yeah. I got a Rick and Morty fandom going too. Gonna do fanart for that...
But anyway, here's the plan. Over November and especially December, I'll be posting all my art over the past year, in batches. One week, you'll get Kaiju A Gogo, another, Cascade, and another, spiritual stuff, and other, school stuff. I've got a lot to post, but the plan is not to post it all too quickly, so you'll have time to digest it. I also plan to reorganize my folders, so once again, older work will be available, but a little less accessible.
