Now today, I bring you all together for a very important, rage inducing topic. Douchebags. They exist in every shape and size, and can be encountered anywhere, by any one, and can cause any number of negative effects on the unfortunates who are stuck with them.
The most recently famous case of douchebaggery's effect on people can be seen in the case of Amanda Todd, a fellow British Columbian who suffered repeated abuses (Which already pissed me off)...
...And who committed suicide 1 month after making this video, because even after moving to a completely different city, douchebags still wouldn't leave her alone. Even now, sick fucks post to that video, proclaiming that she "deserved to die."
I had this to say in response:
Disliked for what douchebags did and continue doing in response to this video.
If any of you sick fucks are under the delusion that "she deserved to die", imagine my big black boot crushing your skull.
Now imagine that boot repeatedly stomping your face in until your horrible thought ceases to be.
Fuckers.
I don't normally have quite this violent an attitude, so I must admit that I do had a minor case of douchebaggery to suffer through recently, and I thought I'd share it with you.
Okay, so yesterday, I'm on the bus, coming back from cleaning an office. Right across from me is a guy dicussing how a "fat gene" is the cause behind people's weight problems. This instantly strikes me as erroneous, but I don't say anything until he actually points at me as an example.
Yes. Pointing at me, for being fat, in a public place. Of course, me being me, this isn't even what pissed me off. Oh no.
I point out that the sources of information I've read indicate that my weight wasn't caused genetically at all, but rather by a diet full of rich foods and a lack of exercise. This is true, of course; I must admit I tend to be pretty predisposed to drawing and video games, and I do have my long-standing weakness for chocolate to consider as well. So, yeah, basically throwing myself on my own sword for the sake of argument. His response?
He insults my intelligence by saying that he didn't care what I was saying, because if I was right, I wouldn't be fat. He then goes on to say that his supposedly perfect source of information is Scientific American, and that everything I read was obviously bullshit. So he reads a populist journal saying that there isn't anything a fat person can do to better themselves, and then proceeds to preach it as gospel, insulting the intelligence of anyone who would dare argue against him. He also insults my appearance, but compared to everything else, that's pretty much gravy at this point.
Oh, and he's going to bandy about his destructive information all over Facebook in the form of ads. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!
Anyway, douchebags like this make the world a worse place. If you see anybody acting like this, call 'em out on it. We need more people standing up for each other, not more Amanda Todds.
